Ross’s London Marathon Challenge

An update on Ross Woodruff's fundraising for MindSTONES

Ross Woodruff took part in the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 27th April to raise money for two charities, The Brompton Fountain at Royal Brompton Hospital and MindSTONES.

Sadly, Ross was unable to complete the course due to extreme heat, he unfortunately collapsed after 16 miles and was hospitalised. Following tests and observations he was allowed home later that evening.

Despite this setback Ross was able to raise an amazing £6,000 which will be split between the two charities, and he has vowed to try again to complete the marathon next year.

We are incredibly proud of Ross and wish him a full and speedy recovery. His heroic attempt has raised awareness and much needed funds for both charities, and we look forward to cheering him on again next year.
