No one here is me

A powerful verbatim performance addressing male mental health

“Outstanding eye opening performance” FREE 19:30 Saturday 29 March 2025 Gallagher Stadium Maidstone

No one Here is Me is a powerful play that highlights and exposes many of the complex issues that are affecting men’s mental health. It is a beautifully crafted, sensitive balance of loss, survival and hope.

This ground-breaking performance was created and written by actor, Sarah Winn, after her cousin took his life in 2021. His death was devastating and in urgent response to it, Sarah set out to gain a better understanding of men’s mental health and how we, as a society, might serve them better.

Sarah’s interest, enquiries and research were seen as a breath of fresh air by everyone she contacted. That she was creating a piece of theatre, to powerfully convey and expose the raw, inner turmoil and pain that many men suffer, was a light of hope. Many survivors of suicide and depression spontaneously stepped forward to tell their story and to help expand Sarah’s understanding around this deeply complex decline in male self-worth.

With funding from the Arts Council, No one Here is Me was first performed in Kent in May 2023. The post show discussions clearly demonstrating how deeply the play, and its message, touched audiences, provoked thoughtful conversations and a determination for action.

The Arts Council is supporting No one Here is Me again this year and the funds are being used to create a cinema quality trailer and enable two further FREE performances at Margate Football Club (Friday 28th March 2025) and Maidstone Football Club (Saturday 29th March 2025).

Tickets for the showings are available now and can be booked through an Eventbrite link on the home page of the No one Here is Me website (www.noonehereisme.co.uk), where you can also find out more about the play and join the mailing list for further updates.
