Schools Out May Half Term Club

Stones in the Community’s “Schools Out” programme brought energy, excitement and plenty of smiles to the May half-term

Stones in the Community’s “Schools Out” programme brought energy, excitement and plenty of smiles to the May half-term, as over 200 children from the local community took part across three fantastic days. Designed to keep young people active, creative and engaged, the sessions offered a brilliant mix of sport, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures and fun in the sun.

Children enjoyed a wide range of activities, from scaling the ever-popular climbing wall to cooling off with water play during the hot weather. One of the standout moments for many was meeting Coffee and Toffee, the much-loved guinea pigs, who were a huge hit with participants. The use of forest school areas added another dimension, giving children the chance to explore and enjoy nature as part of their experience.

It wasn’t just the children who had fun, our dedicated Helpers got fully involved, helping to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere throughout.

A huge thank you goes to our host schools, Archbishop Courtenay Primary School, Greenfields Community Primary School and Leigh Academy Tree Tops – for their continued support in making the programme such a success.
