Top Teams, Fierce Competition
The event welcomed six girls’ teams representing:
Aldershot Town FC , Dagenham & Redbridge FC, Maidstone United FC, Southend FC, Sutton United FC and Tonbridge Angels FC.
And eight boys’ teams, featuring Aldershot Town FC , Dagenham & Redbridge FC, Maidstone United FC, Southend FC, Sutton United FC and Tonbridge Angels FC, Chelmsford City FC and Dorking Wanderers FC.
Both tournaments followed a round‑robin format, with the top two teams in each competition progressing to high-stakes semi‑finals and finals.

Girls’ Final: Southend FC vs Tonbridge Angels FC
A brilliant display of teamwork and determination saw Southend FC crowned champions after a strong performance in the final against Tonbridge. The girls’ game highlighted everything great about grassroots sport, skill, passion and positivity.
Boys’ Final: Tonbridge Angels FC vs Maidstone United FC
The boys’ final delivered pure drama. After a tightly contested match, Tonbridge Angels FC emerged victorious in a nail‑biting penalty shoot‑out, sending their supporters into raptures.
Onward to the South Regional Finals
Both finalists from each category – four teams in total now progress to the South Regional Finals, with the date and venue to be confirmed. The ultimate prize? A chance to compete on the pitch at Wembley Stadium. For these young players, the journey just keeps getting more exciting.
A celebration of U11s Football
The day was a fabulous spectacle of sportsmanship, talent and enthusiasm. From perfectly timed tackles to moments of individual brilliance, the young players showcased exactly why youth football is so important in local communities.
