Spreading the word about men's mental health

Colin and Mike on location at the Gallagher Stadium.

Back in November 2022 Stones in the Community took over the running of a Head In The Game Legacy programme which helps men with their mental health. Our MindSTONES programme run by four volunteers including Colin Jones, now has over 40 participants and is going from strength to strength.

Colin and Trust Chair Mike Littleboy were at the Gallagher Stadium today doing some filming with Head In The Game, shooting video to highlight the work that Head In The Game do in raising awareness and supporting men with mental health issues.

Are you passionate about helping your community?

We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. People who volunteer often report better physical health than nonvolunteers and research has also shown that volunteering leads to lower rates of depression and anxiety.
We’ll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you and would be excited to have you join our team.
